Thilo Kehrer is a top Hammers player currently out on loan at Monaco, he gave his all for the club when called upon and helped glue the defence and midfield together for the last half hour of the club's glorious Conference European Cup Final victory over Fiorentina.

Another player that exiting manager David Moyes didn't 'fancy', and there have been many, Thilo oozed class and although he had the odd ricket in his game had the speed generally to recover his mistakes.

A friend of the site who works for TNT, (formerly BT Sport) has confirmed to us that there has been a flurry of activity in West Ham's press and PR offices at the Stratford stadium where TNT are also based.

News leaked by Fabrizio Romano appeared to take the PR machine of balance, with the general assumption being that an announcement was due to be made on Friday ahead of this week's final home game against Luton on Saturday.

Well there you have it, Hammers appear to have kept the sprat in the form of Julen Lopetegui, instead of the mackerel Ruben Amorim, that they intended to catch! In a way it should come as no surprise that Amorim chose to stay at Sporting as opposed to joining the madhouse that is West Ham United.

David Moyes has effectively managed to get Tim Steidten BANNED from the Stratford Stadium and from the club's training ground until the end of the season, or that is according to a flurry of Press reports and shady denials.

In a way Moyes cannot be blamed for wanting the German out of his sight, the Hammers manager probably feels he deserves better than to see his 'chief tormentor' on a daily basis in and around the dressing room and training facilities on a daily basis.

West Ham United were famous for their 'scatter gun' approach to signing strikers before the arrival of Tim Steidten, however his balanced and intuitive approach doesn't seem to have been adopted when it comes to replacing David Moyes!

Instead of the 'Steidten way' of getting things done quickly with the minimum amount of fuss and 'public' sharing, the search for a new manager has become the exact antipathies of the Steidten way.
